We're back with Part 2 of our Leatherface retrospective, part of our SUMMER SLAYCATION series! Each week throughout the summer we're covering a major horror villain's original film and the rest of their franchise!
A short FIRST CHOP this week, as we were busy watching Chainsaw movies! But Tim did manage to sneak in a Hammer classic, THE TWO FACES OF DR. JEKYLL!
DISCMEMBERMENT this week serves up some great television, as well as a couple of '80s obscurities!
But the real meat (heh) of the episode is our coverage of ALL the Texas Chainsaw Massacre sequels/prequels/reboots! That's right, we watched TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2, LEATHERFACE: TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 3, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE NEW GENERATION, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (2003), TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING, and TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D! We'll give our thoughts on each film in this wild and wonderful franchise, as well as first impressions of the upcoming LEATHERFACE prequel!
So take a seat at the head of the table, but don't eat the chili! It's CIVIL GORE time!
