Civil Gore Podcast

Jul 20, 2018

Welcome everyone to the first part of our SUMMER SLAYCATION series on everyone's favorite motel taxidermist, NORMAN BATES! That's right, we're covering the entire Psycho franchise, starting with the original Hitchcock classic that started it all!

In our FIRST CHOP, Tim hits the drive-in with the JOE BOB BRIGGS marathon on Shudder, then burns some witches when he sees the MARK OF THE DEVIL!

Then we offer up a smorgasbord of horror news, including some exciting new action figures, a terrific new Criterion disc, a new version of FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME - heck, to make a long story short, we're just going to tell you how broke you're going to be by the end of the year!

Our DISCMEMBERMENT this week features a flood of Lovecraftian goodness. Hope you have some deep pockets, as the Elder Gods are demanding a sacrifice from your wallet!

Then it's time to discuss one of our favorite horror films of all time, PSYCHO (1960). This classic Hitchcock thriller has not lost its power to thrill nearly 60 years after its release. No single podcast episode could ever do this film justice, so just join us as we look at it from a pure fan perspective.

Of course we'll also have our usual beer pairing and Six Degrees of Decapitation, so please - sign the register. We have plenty of rooms available and a hot shower's waiting...
